How it works
On the Create tab, type a few words or tap Surprise Me. Keep Premium or pick Standard, then tap Create Page.
A little crayon dance plays while Sketchy draws it as a black-and-white coloring page and saves it in My pages. Print it, save it to Photos, or tap Redraw for a fresh version.
Fill a shape with one tap, draw with a crayon, marker or pencil, or add stickers. Tap the tick to see your picture on the Ta-da! screen.
What it does best
A dragon eating ice cream. A turtle on a skateboard. Type it, or tap Start from a photo and pick the family dog, and Sketchy redraws it as clean line art you can color or print.
Fill floods a shape up to its lines with one tap, in a plain color or a magic fill: rainbow, stripes, dots or glitter. Brush draws with a crayon, marker or pencil, and Stickers adds stars, hearts and more you can move and resize. Five crayon boxes, plus any color you mix.
Explore has a Page of the Day and pages sorted into categories like Animals, Dinosaurs and Outer Space, with Free, Premium and Favorites a tap apart. Books holds fourteen storybook coloring books, ten pages each in story order, with a seasonal pick up top and search across every book and page. None of them uses sparks.
Tap the tick to see the finished picture. Replay it filling itself in, print it, save it to Photos, or share it as a picture or a short video.

Originals keeps the line art of every page you make, plus the Explore and book pages you heart, favorites first. Colored keeps your finished pictures.
Change your mind as often as you like. Start over shows the page going back to its lines before it asks. Close the page and your coloring is saved, so Keep Coloring picks up where you left off.
AirPrint on Letter or A4. Plain pages print in grayscale to save ink, colored pages in full color.
Tap the heart on any page. Your favorites get their own chip in Explore and Books and come first in My pages.
With iCloud, your pages, colorings, favorites and sparks follow you to your other iPhone or iPad.
Buying sparks shows every step and ends with Sparks added, so you always know they landed. If a page can't be drawn, the sparks go back on their own.

Private by design
No sign-in, no name, no email. A random ID made on your device keeps your sparks, and it is not linked to your Apple ID.
Your words go to our server and on to Replicate, which runs the Recraft drawing models. Our server doesn't save them. Please don't type names or addresses.
Apple's photo picker shows Sketchy just that picture. It is shrunk and sent without location or camera details, and redrawn by FLUX.1 Kontext Pro on Replicate.
Replicate, and the model makers where involved, keep descriptions, photos and drawn pages under their own policies. We don't train AI on them.
Pages and colorings stay on your device and in your private iCloud. We keep no copy on any server of ours.
No ads, no analytics, no tracking and no chat. Every purchase goes through Apple, where Ask to Buy works.

No. There is no sign-in. A random ID on your device keeps your sparks, and with iCloud your pages and sparks follow you to your other devices.
Free Explore pages, the free storybooks, coloring, printing, saving, sharing and replays cost nothing. Drawing a new page uses sparks, from packs starting at $1.99 that never expire. Sketchy Premium unlocks every premium page and book for a single $4.99.
To our server and on to Replicate, an AI service that draws the page. Our server keeps neither, but Replicate and the model makers keep copies under their own policies. The privacy policy lists exactly what is sent.
An iPhone or iPad. Making pages, Surprise Me, Explore and Books need an internet connection. Pages already in My pages open and color offline.
Every description asks for a simple, cheerful page for a children's coloring book, but Sketchy has no word filter of its own, so keep a grown-up nearby for younger kids. There are no ads or chat, and a grown-up should pick any photo.
