Sketchy has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, and no tracking. We collect the minimum needed to draw your coloring pages and keep your credit balance - and nothing else.
What we collect
An anonymous identifier. A random ID is created on your device so your credit balance can be stored, and shared between your own devices through your iCloud account. It is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID - we don't know who you are.
Purchase records. Payments are processed entirely by Apple. Our purchase platform (RevenueCat) receives the App Store receipt and the anonymous ID so your credits get added. We never see payment details.
Page descriptions. The text you type (e.g. “a dragon eating ice cream”) is sent to our server and an AI image partner solely to draw that page, then discarded from our systems. Please don't include personal information in descriptions - it isn't needed.
Photos you choose to convert. If you turn a photo into a coloring page, that photo is sent to our server and an AI image partner solely to draw the page, then discarded from our systems. Photos are never used for anything else, and we never access your photo library - only the single picture you pick.
Your pages
Finished coloring pages, and everything you paint on them, are stored on your device and - if you use iCloud - in your private iCloud database so they appear on your other devices. That storage belongs to your Apple account; only you can see it. We keep no gallery of your pages on any server of ours.
What we don't do
No advertising and no third-party analytics.
No selling or sharing of data with data brokers.
No tracking across apps or websites.
Children
Sketchy is made for families. We collect no personal information from anyone, including children. Purchases sit behind the standard App Store payment flow, which parents can control with Screen Time and Ask to Buy.
